Regents Estates & Mortgages Ltd has been in business and trusted since 2004. Having started predominantly as a mortgage company, the house sales division was expanded in December 2005, when Gary Scott joined the firm as Director. His mission was to establish the company as Dalgety Bay’s largest estate agent, selling more homes in the area than the entire competition combined.
At the end of a very successful 2006, Craig Scott joined the company as Mortgage Director bringing a wealth of experience from his financial services background.
Our business model is of a Director or Business Consultant, all of whom have over 25 years experience in their industry, watching over and assisting with every development in a clients transaction. We provide a service that is personal, individual and wholly based around the needs of a client rather than a corporate strategy.
Thanks to this sound business ethos Regents has continued to go from strength to strength. We have expanded into new areas within Fife, Edinburgh and Glasgow as our existing customers who have “taste tested” our service come back to use Regents, wherever they have moved to. In addition, the increase in our new client base has included new build companies who have asked us to handle part exchange sales.
As Sales Director Gary Scott says, “the ability of a company is not simply to become good. You have to stay there, meeting customer demands and continually refocussing your efforts to adapt and develop”.
By embracing new technology, Regents remain at the forefront of developments in estate agency. With a large internet presence, we provide maximum exposure for our clients properties, ensuring they reach a wide target audience. Similarly with our whole of market approach on mortgages, we offer advice on almost all lending solutions.
Gary worked with a national corporate company, first as Branch Manager, then as Area Manager, then Director then Senior Director. With each promotion he accepted the corporate responsibility but became frustrated with the limitations on service which a national company imposes, with a one fits all approach. Hence his desire to help create a company that is totally customer focussed.

Following his BA Degree, Craig started with Nationwide Building Society, on their trainee management scheme in August 1986. His banking career took him through a variety of lenders, resulting in him moving to become a mortgage and insurance intermediary in August 2000.
It is important to gain a broad and thorough knowledge of the industry before giving advice. Craig can offer over 30 years of experience and knowledge (with professional exams along the way) to ensure he can offer you the right advice and recommendation. A central pillar of Craig's position is to treat you, the customer - fairly, act in the manner you would expect to achieve the best outcome.
